Never Suffer a Magellan Triton GPS Problem Again!
We will pre-load your Flash Memory Card with our special Emergency Rescue Software that will allow you to recover and repair your GPS should any files become corrupt. After all you would NOT like to have spent your moneys for a unit that refuses to operate correctly Our Emergency Rescue and Repair Software will allow you to repair these corrupted software files and return your unit to full functionality.
Our PROPRIETARY EMERGENCY RESCUE AND REPAIR PROTECTION SOFTWARE is your "PRODUCT INSURANCE" that will allow you enjoy the use of your Magellan Triton GPS should the software ever develop problems again.
THIS SOFTWARE IS NOT AVAILABLE FROM ANY OTHER MAGELLAN TRITON GPS RESELLER. IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE FROM THE "JUNGLE GHOST".

1) 500 and 2000 ... Compass Calibration and True North Calibration.
2) 400 500 Media Check .. Pictures only (.jpg .jpeg)
3) 1500 and 2000 Media .. Pictures (.jpg .jpeg) and Sound and Audio Recording: .aas and mpeg 3: . mp3
4) 200 300 400 500 Alarm Tone .. Volume Operation. We must advise customers that the Magellan Tritons (400 and 500) have a flaw in the engineering design which we cannot fix. The alarm tones are very low and can only be hear in the Diagnostic mode if you place your ear by the GPS. (This is a hardware flaw and we do not fix hardware problems.)
5) 2000 Media .. Photo Operation .. Audio/Video Operation .. Audio Recording. We must advise customers that the Magellan Tritons (1500 and 2000) for Audio Recording have a flaw in the engineering design which we cannot fix. You will hear your recording but only if you place the GPS by your ear. (This is a hardware flaw and we do not fix hardware problems.)
6) Loading of latest firmware
7) Reset all Hiking and Geocache Profiles to Search and Rescue standards.
8) Full Diagnostics on Memory, Control Buttons, Touchscreen, Video Color Hatch and Volume
9) We will Enhance Satellite Acquisition to an accuracy of between 16 - 21 ft.
10) If your SD or SDHC flash memory card is capable, we will increase its capacity to store files and speed. This will allow you to pan your maps with your pan cursor faster.
11) We will create a USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) .imi file of your state which will contain street names, wetlands, rivers, contours, etc. which can be zoomed to 100 feet. This allows us the test the zoom level of your GPS down to 100 feet.
12) We will add a Worldwide TOPO Contour Basemap to your flash card which will allow you to travel worldwide and at least know where you are, the contours of the land and major highways.
13) Waypoint Accuracy Tests versus our Trimble Survey Equipment.
... Here Are Just Some of the Repairs Problems We Have Encountered and Fixed...
14) Vantage Point can no longer connect to your GPS.
15) The top bar on your screen disappeared and is replaced by a green bar. This only applies to the Triton 400 and 500 Models.
16) GPS no longer connects to your computer with Vantage Point not running.
17) Your Triton is issuing a mgnShell.exe error.
18) Your Triton is issuing an "Internal Error" or "Unknown Device" message.
19) Your 400 and 500 GPS boots up, FREEZES and goes to a Gray Window with a Task Bar on the TOP with terms like File Run HDD Update Help X
20) Your Triton 1500 and 2000 Touchscreen does not pass the diagnostic test indicating a fault in the system.
23) Your Triton powers up and you get "GPS FIX" and "illegal operation" errors and the unit freezes up.
24) We can repair the Triton if it is stuck in the Development mode (The screen is dull gray with only the top bar).
25) GPS refuses to update firmware .. reports a "Unknown is Attached".
26) Your Triton halted during the firmware upgrade and is now locked.
27) Faulty or Damaged 400 and 500 LCD Screen
28) Unit Freezes on Startup
29) 200 300 400 and 500 Unit has a Cracked LCD .. We refer to the LCD and not the Acrylic Protection Lens
