Easter Egg #1 -- The infamous Developer mode is for the Magellan Triton 200 - 300 - 400 and 500 ONLY. It is enacted by simultaneously pressing and holding the POWER - LIGHT - UP ARROW buttons as you start the GPS.

This sequence only works when you do a cold restart.

Want to get out of this mode, you can reboot the unit by simultaneously pressing and holding the POWER - SELECT - ESC buttons or just take out one of the batteries.

Careful here you could get in trouble if you don't know what your doing.

Easter Egg #2 -- Screenshots on the Triton 500

Automatic screendump option in the new firmware (-+-+UpDnUpDn or +-+ZoomDownZoomDown .. depends on the firmware installed). You can take pictures of your current map screen and they will be placed on your SD card as a .bmp file.

From the compass screen push ---- (4x) and got the first picture and then push ++++ (4x)and get another picture..

Easter Egg #3 -- For the 500 To set the Temperature in the compass screen .. just push --++-+ at the compass screen" menu has a temperature reading and compass recalibration and SATELLITES BEING RECEIVED INCLUDED WHICH ONES ARE WAAS.

Easter Egg #4 -- For the 2000 -- To find the debugger Menu - - ++ -+ Also record Macro's

Easter Egg #5 -- For the 2000 -- To See Your Compass Characteristcs - - --

Easter Egg #6 -- For the 2000 -- To get to the screen where you can set up a method to continuously record breadcrumbs until the memory of our SDHC card is empty. This is the method to beat the 5000 breadcrumb limit of the Tritons. --++-+

You can also do a Compass Recalibration on this menu.

You can see your Sensor Statistics.

You can get your Satellite Information

You can Set Custom Coordinates in the Triton in whatever Navigation Coordinate you have set up your Triton.
